Regulatory and Banking Supervision Expectations in the Americas

ASBA distributed among its Associate Members a survey on regulatory and banking supervisory expectations for 2017 in January of the current year. This survey addresses topics such as events that may have repercussions in the region, the change in the main variables of the financial systems, business lines affected and types of risks that could impact the markets in the region. Also, questions regarding the degree of compliance with international standards, the scope of financial inclusion processes and knowledge of new technologies are included. Finally, the survey identifies topics of interest to be discussed within the institution during 2017.
